On the morning of August 31, in Hanoi, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFC), Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front warmly welcomed the delegation of the Vietnam - Korea Investment Business Association (VKBIA) on the occasion of the delegation returning home to attend the parade and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
Visiting the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Dr. Tran Hai Linh - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam - Korea Association of Investors said that after 6 years of operation, the Association has promoted activities to promote cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, spreading the spirit of towards the homeland and country of overseas Vietnamese in Korea.
Accordingly, the Association has co-organized many large trade promotion forums and conferences, bringing opportunities for hundreds of businesses of the two countries to meet, exchange and sign cooperation agreements. Typically, trade conferences between Korean enterprises and the Central Highlands and South Central regions have created dozens of memorandums of understanding on cooperation, expanding output for Vietnamese agricultural products.
VKBIA also directly accompanies large corporations such as Samsung, LG, GS Energy, supporting the implementation of billion-dollar projects in the fields of high technology, green industry, renewable energy, contributing significantly to promoting the socio-economic development of the country. VKBIA also actively expands cooperation connections between Vietnamese and Korean localities, supporting the establishment of friendship, investment promotion and tourism cooperation, notably the successful connection of direct flights between Da Nang and Gangwon, bringing tens of thousands of tourists back and forth, strengthening the friendship between the two peoples.
Not only stopping in the economic field, VKBIA also has many practical activities in the fields of culture, education and community. VKBIA has participated in organizing cultural and artistic festivals, promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam in Korea; coordinating with universities and educational institutions to implement scholarship programs, training high-quality human resources in key industries such as green technology, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence.
The Association also regularly implements programs towards the sea and islands of the Fatherland, supporting people in disaster and flood areas, deeply demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, compatriotism and noble social responsibility of the Vietnamese business community and overseas Vietnamese intellectuals in Korea.
According to Dr. Tran Hai Linh, in the coming time, the Association will try harder to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between VKBIA and localities such as the Northwestern provinces of Vietnam, so that VKBIA can become a diplomatic bridge for people, trade, labor and connect resources from Korea for investment and development in Vietnam, first of all, investing in building nursing homes in Vietnam.
Dr. Tran Hai Linh said that cooperation activities must be in the spirit of being practical and effective so that Vietnamese people when going to Korea will have their rights guaranteed. VKBIA continues to be a bridge and an extension of cooperation between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and overseas Vietnamese in Korea.
Dr. Tran Hai Linh hopes to continue to receive the direction and facilitation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in strengthening activities connecting overseas Vietnamese, thereby giving overseas Vietnamese the opportunity to contribute their intelligence and creativity through the Advisory Councils of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, thereby affirming the role of overseas Vietnamese in promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman Do Van Chien expressed his pleasure at welcoming the overseas Vietnamese delegation of the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association to visit his homeland and attend activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
Mr. Do Van Chien sent the delegation his best wishes for health, warmth and best wishes; and acknowledged the Association's contributions in recent times when it gradually affirmed its role as a prestigious organization, an important bridge in economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.
The achievements of the Association not only affirm the role and prestige of the Association in the overseas Vietnamese community, but also contribute greatly to fostering friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries of Vietnam and Korea, Mr. Do Van Chien affirmed.
Mr. Do Van Chien suggested that in the coming time, the Association should continue to promote its role as a bridge, taking advantage of the advantages of market and network understanding to expand investment, trade, science and technology cooperation, especially in the fields of green industry, renewable energy, smart cities and high technology.

Mr. Do Van Chien affirmed that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to accompany and support the Association's activities to make more practical and effective contributions, and be more closely associated with the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time, he believes that VKBIA will continue to reap more success, becoming the pride of the overseas Vietnamese community in Korea in actively contributing to the overall development of the country.
