On May 31, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organized a series of large-scale activities named: "Digital Touchpoint 2026" Day - Training in artificial intelligence (AI) skills and universal digital signature.
The event takes place at Van Lang Park (No. 238 An Duong Vuong Street, An Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). This is a series of highlight activities with pivotal and practical meaning to celebrate Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation Day 2026 in the city.
The series of activities strongly affirms the city's commitment to building a development model with people and businesses as the center, subject and driving force; thereby creating a breakthrough to bring digital skills and AI application thinking to the grassroots level, promoting the process of building comprehensive digital government, digital economy and digital society in the area.
The "Touch Point No. 2026" festival space is operated according to an interactive visual model, including 5 digital experience stations:
In which, the "Digital Citizen" station supports activating level 2 VNeID accounts, integrating "Electronic Health Number", searching for VssID applications and submitting applications through the City Digital Citizen application. The station also organizes authentication, provides free public digital signatures, supports online presence with the domain name ".vn" and provides free health check-ups for people.
The "Digital Party Member" station directly supports generations of Party members to access and install the electronic Party Member handbook application. At the same time, it guides the digitization of professional processes for transferring Party activities, online deduction and payment of Party membership fees without cash and application for confidential online meetings in Party cell activities, strictly complying with information security regulations.
At the "Digital Economy and Household Business" station, people are guided to install eTax Mobile to pay electronic taxes, access electronic invoice solutions generated from cash registers, and experience accounting and sales software.
In particular, small traders will practice applying AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI to create commands (prompts) to write advertising text, design images and livestream sales.
The "Basic Digital Skills" station is designed according to an interactive playground model, to help people improve their skills in identifying Deepfake calls and malicious links.
