Brinc is a company specializing in providing drones to the police force and public agencies in the US. Blake Resnick - CEO of Brinc said that the company's goal is to become "Western DJI", aiming for a leading position similar to the Chinese drone manufacturer in the global market.

Founded in 2017, Brinc quickly attracted the attention of Sam Altman - one of the initial investors. The company has gone through many rounds of funding and is recently valued at nearly 500 million USD.

Recently, Brinc launched a new drone model called Guardian, aimed at serving public security. According to Resnick, this product has capabilities equivalent to a police helicopter in many situations. The device can reach a maximum speed of about 60 mph, continuous operating time of more than 1 hour, equipped with a thermal camera and 2 4K cameras with zoom capability to recognize details from a distance.

Guardian also integrates high-power lighting and powerful loudspeakers, supporting functional forces in emergency situations. The accompanying charging station allows automatic battery replacement and can contain medical devices such as defibrillators, floating rescue devices or antidotes, helping to deploy relief without human direct involvement.

The noteworthy point is that this drone integrates the Starlink satellite connection system directly into the body. SpaceX's technology helps the device maintain connection in almost every area, expanding its operating range almost unlimitedly.

Resnick said the public security market is a great opportunity as the US has tens of thousands of police and fire departments. He estimates the potential market size could reach 6 billion to 8 billion USD in the future.

The business is also cooperating with the National League of Cities to promote the deployment of drone models as emergency response forces in localities, thereby expanding its customer base.

In the context of changing geopolitics, the drone market in the US is also shifting. Restrictions on imported products have created more opportunities for domestic manufacturers. According to Resnick, the demand for a leading drone manufacturer in the West is increasing and Brinc aims to seize this opportunity.
