In the first 3 months of 2025, the number of people searching for information and keywords poured into political and social events, especially related to the merger of provinces and cities.

On April 4, Coc Coc has just released the Search trend report for the first quarter of 2025, revealing a colorful picture of the concerns of Vietnamese users in the first three months of the year.

Administrative reform attracts special attention

In the first quarter of 2025, the public will pay special attention to administrative reform policies, especially the merger of provinces and cities and streamlining the state apparatus.

Search data recorded a 162% increase for keywords related to "Ministry merger", "Ministry reduction", "mechanical streamlining", while "provincial-city merger" skyrocketed by 439%. This reflects the people's deep concern for major state decisions.

In addition, traffic is also a hot topic with the number of " cool fines" searches increasing by 170.3% after the VNeTraffic application of the Ministry of Public Security officially came into operation.

Increase vigilance against cross-border fraud

Concerns about cross-border fraud continued to increase in the first quarter of the year. The number of searches for the keyword "Cambodia fraud" increased to 378%, stemming from a series of cases related to illegal labor lure.

Many victims were tricked into going to Cambodia with the promise of light work and high salaries but were actually forced to participate in online fraud activities.
