Da Nang City applies technology to tourism development

HorecFex Vietnam 2024 is the first and largest event on tourism technology held in the coastal city of Da Nang.

On September 23, the Vietnam Hotel Association in collaboration with Ariyana Danang International Convention Palace organized the opening ceremony of the Exhibition and Forum on Technology and Innovation in the Hotel Industry - HorecFex Vietnam 2024.

HorecFex Vietnam 2024 with the theme "Leading the future of the hotel industry", this annual event will support Vietnamese resorts and restaurants to keep up with the changes of the world, promote innovation and growth in the Vietnamese tourism and service industry, contributing to the overall development of the country's tourism.

Ms. Do Thi Hong Xoan - Vice President of Vietnam Tourism Association, President of Vietnam Hotel Association said, "HorecFex Vietnam 2024 is the first and largest event on technology in the tourism industry held in the coastal city of Da Nang with the expectation of bringing the latest information on the application of innovative technology in the operation of hotels, restaurants, and food service establishments.

Thereby, it not only helps service and tourism businesses develop, but also contributes to improving the overall travel experience of visitors to Vietnam, promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam tourism," said Ms. Xoan.

HorecFex Vietnam 2024 takes place from September 23 - 24 at Ariyana International Convention Palace, Da Nang.

During the two days of the event, there will be an exhibition with nearly 50 booths displaying technology products and tourism service products; a forum with 9 seminars including 40 presentations, discussing the application of new technology, digital transformation and hotel operations management in the new era.

The workshop was attended and shared by more than 55 domestic and international speakers, from leading units in the industry such as Microsoft, Oracle, FPT... In particular, there was the participation of speaker Hoang Nam Tien sharing on the topic "Leadership and leading change" in the morning session on September 24.
