Just a few days before the time of applying handling measures for subscribers who have not confirmed information as prescribed, telecommunications businesses continuously issued warnings to help users avoid service interruptions.
According to telecommunications businesses, the most important thing at this time is that users need to proactively check the phone numbers that are in their name on the VNeID application and confirm the usage status for each subscriber.
Not missing messages from network operators
One of the notes that carriers repeat the most is that users need to carefully read messages related to subscriber confirmation or information updates.
In the past time, many subscribers who need confirmation have been sent notifications via SMS or on the network operator's application. However, many people ignore it because they think this is an advertising message or a regular notification.
According to regulations, subscribers who are required to be confirmed but do not perform may be temporarily suspended from the departure service after June 15.
Check all phone numbers that are in your name
According to the Telecommunications Authority (Ministry of Science and Technology), people can use VNeID to view all registered phone numbers according to their personal information.

When the list appears, users need to confirm each number they are using or not using. This is considered an important step to detect subscribers that are no longer under control or phone numbers that have been forgotten for many years.
Only authenticated through official channels
Network operators recommend that users only verify information through:
- VNeID APP.
- Official applications of network operators such as My Viettel, MyVNPT, My MobiFone.
- Official transaction points or authorized points as prescribed.
People should not provide OTP codes, citizen identification photos or personal information for links, social media accounts or calls of unknown origin.
If it is discovered that the subscriber is not in their right to use, people need to confirm the correct status on VNeID so that telecommunications businesses can continue to handle it according to regulations.
Notes for people changing phones from June 15
Another content that many people are interested in is regulations related to changing terminal equipment.
According to Circular 08/2026/TT-BKHCN, from June 15, some cases of changing terminal equipment may require re-verification of facial biometrics according to regulations.
Therefore, users are recommended to monitor notifications from carriers when changing phones or incurring additional authentication requests.
Many forms of support are being implemented
To support people to complete procedures ahead of schedule, telecommunications businesses have strengthened direct support points, mobile support teams and extended service hours in many localities. Some network operators also deployed home support for the elderly or people with travel difficulties.
Network operators recommend that people should complete the inspection and confirmation of information early instead of waiting until close to the time of application of regulations to avoid overloading or interrupting communication.
According to information from the Telecommunications Authority, as of the beginning of June 2026, more than 1.6 million numbers have been confirmed by users as not using their owners. Meanwhile, there are still about 25 million subscribers who have not been confirmed status on VNeID by users.
According to the Telecommunications Authority, the general review process is still being implemented, so there are currently no accurate statistics on the percentage of subscribers who have completed confirmation. The data on locked subscribers will be announced after June 15.
