Ho Chi Minh City - Convicton Technology Festival 2025 has ended. After two days of taking place, the event attracted tens of thousands of attendees, along with presentations from hundreds of experts and guests. Within the framework of the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Communications - Electronics and Blockchain Association held an awards ceremony for the first NFT Application painting Design Contest in Vietnam named Rising City.
Right in the preliminary round, the organizing committee received more than 60 entries. Of these, the 30 best works were selected for the final round.
The contest attracted the participation of many young people who love painting and design, aiming to raise public awareness of blockchain technology in general, as well as the potential for applying NFTs to creative fields and intellectual property protection.
In parallel with the rounds, the organizing committee will deploy many popular activities at related universities, creating conditions for students to access basic knowledge about new technology, ready to anticipate future trends.

10 outstanding works were honored with a total prize value of more than 100 million VND. The first prize went to the work "Light of the New Era" by author Phan Thi Thanh Nhan. The two second prizes were awarded to the works InPeace by author Dang Hong Quyen and Qua Song Cuu Than by author Tran Que Anh.
"This painting is not limited by any style or mold. Each work carries a unique world but blends into the big picture of Ho Chi Minh City as it is reaching out, where the spirit of innovation converges, the desire to reach out and shape a pioneering city in digital transformation, towards the position of a regional financial center.
Art has become a common language to tell the story of a breakout city, said Mr. Do Van Dung, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts.
In addition to the art field, at Conviction 2025, IP Agency and the blockchain ecosystem Ninety Eight, in collaboration with Joli Poli, will deploy an NFT-based root traceability solution for unique wedding dresses, helping to prevent counterfeit goods and protect brands.
IPC Global Network and Ninety Eight announced their cooperation with Vietkings to apply blockchain to the field of record setting.
Ninety Eight and IPC Global Network provide blockchain network infrastructure, issue, store, transfer and establish ownership of records as NFTs, as well as provide services for reissuing and maintaining Record Certificates using NFTs.
The unit accompanying this year's event also awarded a scholarship worth 1 billion VND, to support training and internships at technology enterprises, contributing to building high-quality blockchain human resources for the digital transformation era.
The scholarship was awarded to nearly 100 students with outstanding achievements from Foreign Trade Office II Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Information Technology, Natural Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH).
