Speaking at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port said that in the period of national renewal, the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port flexibly and creatively applied border work measures, firmly managed and protected border security sovereignty, and strengthened and expanded international relations.
In particular, the Border Guard of Da Nang Port has successfully applied technology software in immigration work.
Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong added that the unit has applied information technology to the practical work of reforming administrative procedures in immigration control. Invest in developing software "Scan cards using optical symbol recognition methods", software for managing crew members and passengers, declaring electronic procedures online, using a remote surveillance camera system.
"Thanks to the good implementation of administrative procedure reform, the time for completing procedures for ship dealers and businesses has been shortened to the maximum.
For passenger ships from 1,000 to 2,000 passengers, only within the time the cruise ship from buoy number 0 enters the port (45-60 minutes) completes the procedures, the ship arrives at the port so that passengers can go ashore immediately. The inspection and supervision of passengers going ashore only takes 5 seconds/passenger," said Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong.
