The project of renovating and upgrading National Highway 46 of Vinh - Nam Dan city has a total investment of VND 500 billion, invested by the Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) as an investor, Hoa Hiep Co., Ltd is a construction unit. The incident occurred in the area of Mau 3 hamlet (Kim Lien commune) when the machine leveled the ground, breaking the water supply pipeline from the White Bridge Water Plant.
According to the people's reflection, dehydration has lasted for 3 days, affecting the daily life of more than 2,800 households. Some households have to buy bottles, ask well water from neighbors, or take advantage of rainwater to hold in the hot weather.
"The whole neighborhood of nearly 300 households did not have clean water. My family had to catch rainwater to use, very miserable. Hope the parties will soon overcome," said N.D.H, the people of Lien Mau 1 hamlet, pressing.
Noted at the scene, the broken pipeline area has not been overcome. Some machines continue construction, while the water supply unit, contractor and investor have not made a clear repair move.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Loc - Chairman of Kim Lien Commune People's Committee confirmed the incident and said that he had contacted the water supply unit, currently "waiting for coordination". Meanwhile, the representative of the project management board said that the underground water pipeline has not been handed over the full ground, so it arises in construction.
The people of Kim Lien commune are looking forward to the parties involved early to overcome to have clean water to use again.
