Choosing a career with AI - a new journey
In the context of digital transformation and the rapid development of technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), Hai Phong youth are gradually changing their approach when choosing a future career. No longer limited by traditional multiple-choice tests or advice from relatives, students today proactively use AI tools to learn about themselves and outline career paths in a more flexible way.
Nguyen Ngoc Tran - a student of the Faculty of Traditional Medicine, Thanh Dong University (Hai Phong City) - shared: "Before, I was quite hesitant between many professions, but when I used AI platforms to analyze my interests, strengths and market data, I gradually realized that the traditional medicine industry was suitable for my lifestyle and personal values. AI does not replace your decisions, but it makes you more confident with that choice
According to observations of lecturers, students and pupils today, AI is not only used to look up information about majors, but also to build a learning roadmap, develop soft skills, and even simulate future career situations.
Mr. Le Anh Tuan - Director of the AI Application Center, Thanh Dong University said: "We cannot fully understand how students use AI in life and study, but we can clearly see that they are very creative. Some students use chatbots to "teach soft skills" to... advise on love and affection. Although it is not the initial goal, it shows the trust of young people in the ability to respond and sympathize with AI.
In addition to choosing a major, Hai Phong students also use visual AI tools such as Midjourney or AI video to express themselves and try their hand at a career in the field of content creation.
A group of students at the school made films using AI to compete in a competition organized by director Johny Tri Nguyen. Although not yet entered the final round, this is a very useful practical experience to help you better understand the potential application of AI in the field of art - media.
Many other students choose to build YouTube channels specializing in history, culture, academics... with the support of AI in writing content, creating images and voicing. This shows that choosing a career for young people is not only a major choice in school, but also a process of testing different professional roles right when still on the chair.

The labor market is changing, young people need to be more proactive
In an era where technology is constantly changing, traditional occupations may disappear and new occupations continue to appear, choosing the right job from the beginning is almost impossible. Therefore, AI has become a tool to support broading vision instead of imposing optional options.
Mr. Le Anh Tuan commented: "The positive thing is that Hai Phong youth are no longer "exposed" by blindly hot jobs. With AI to analyze market data and feedback from personal experience, they tend to choose a career that suits their living values and long-term goals.
However, it should also be noted that AI is just a tool, it cannot completely replace practical experience and critical thinking. Sustainable career choices still require a combination of self-knowledge, social awareness and a long-term learning process.
In the AI era, choosing a career is no longer a once-in-a-lifetime decision, but a process of continuous discovery, adaptation and development. Hai Phong young people are proving that: with the support of AI, they can proactively create their professional future - not being passive in following trends, but alertly leading themselves through each stage.
AI not only changes the way of learning, the way of doing things, but also changes the way of dreaming and acting of a generation. And with a spirit of dynamism, creativity and desire to learn, Hai Phong youth are walking more firmly on their career path - with AI accompanying them.
