Another competitor to Apple Vision Pro appears

Although Apple Vision Pro was not a sales success, the product still inspired other companies to expand into the field of virtual reality.

One of them is Vivo, which is said to be developing a product that directly competes with the Vision Pro.

According to sources, Vivo plans to launch a prototype of its mixed reality glasses in September 2025 and could officially release them before the end of 2025.

The device is expected to have many similarities to the Vision Pro, particularly the ability to overlay virtual elements onto live real-world images, rather than simply providing a completely virtual environment.

The biggest highlight of this product is likely to be its significantly more affordable price, along with the ability to support today's top VR titles - an element that the Vision Pro lacks.

Industry reports say that Vivo is working on making its device superior to the Vision Pro in several aspects, which could include gaming support.

Still, outdoing Apple's augmented reality glasses in many ways is no easy task, at least if Vivo wants to keep the price reasonable.

The Vision Pro’s display is currently rated as excellent, along with superior motion tracking capabilities. Additionally, the premium glass and aluminum frame also increases the price of this product.
