Dimensions are often not a factor that determines the attraction of a tourist destination. However, many people are deceived by their real size through photos.

Mona Lisa painting, Paris

Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci is one of the most famous paintings in the world. This work of art currently holds the Guinness World Record for the highest insurance price for paintings (about 74,380,000 pounds). It is currently hanging in the Louvre, in Paris, France and has been on display there since 1797.

Many visitors who come to admire the painting are surprised by the size of the portrait. The portrait is only 30inch x 21inch in size. With the number of viewers always overloaded, standing far away to watch seems a bit difficult.

statue of Goddess of Peace, New York

The statue of Goddess of Peace is a French gift to the United States to celebrate the independence of the United States and was erected in 1886 in Upper New York Bay on Liberty Island.

Many visitors to Manhattan said that the small architecture of the statue made them a bit disappointed because in the movies, the statue looked grander and much larger.

The statue of a boy standing on a mat in Brussels, Belgium

The 24-inch bronze statue depicting a boy urinating on a fountain is one of the attractions for tourists to Brussels, Belgium.

Many visitors were surprised by the size of this statue. A tourist from Portugal said: "The statue is much smaller than I thought. It is a cute statue, but its small size and the number of people often gather around make it difficult for people to see it."

4 US presidents on rushmore Mountain

Each year, this place attracts more than three million visitors from all over the world. However, many tourists were quite surprised by the size of this project. Many people think it should have been bigger.

White House, Washington D.C.
