Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - Permanent Vice President of the Board of Directors of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, code SSB) - has completed the purchase of 1 million SSB shares. The transaction was conducted from April 21 to April 29, 2025, according to the order matching and agreement method. The transaction value calculated at face value is 10 billion VND.
Before the transaction, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga held 116,083,628 SSB shares, equivalent to 4.08% of the total number of voting shares. After the transaction, she increased her ownership ratio to 117,083,628 shares, accounting for 4.115%.
In a report sent to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange and the State Securities Commission, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga said that the total number of shares held by her and her relatives after the transaction was 279,298,913 shares, equivalent to 9.818% of the expected voting shares after the issuance of shares under the employee stock selection program (ESOP).
The report did not disclose a specific list of people or organizations identified as related people. According to the 2019 Securities Law, related people include family members such as spouses, parents, children, siblings; organizations that are controlled or co-controlled by insiders or related people; or individuals and organizations with direct financial interests.
Previous publications on the market show that some relatives of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga once held large amounts of SSB shares.
Accordingly, Ms. Le Thu Thuy - the biological daughter of Ms. Nga, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of SeABank - currently owns 65,646,053 shares, equivalent to 2.307%.
Mr. Le Tuan Anh - Mrs. Nga's son - is holding nearly 47 million shares and has registered to sell 1 million shares between April 21 and May 20, 2025.
Previously, Mr. Le Huu Bau - Ms. Nga's husband - owned more than 43.7 million SSB shares and sold the majority in October 2024.
As of the end of April 2025, SSB shares were trading around VND19,000/share. SeABank is implementing a plan to issue ESOP shares and expand financial investment activities.
