Storm No. 10 caused severe damage to many coastal tourist areas in Ha Tinh, and the work to overcome the consequences is currently being focused on.

On the afternoon of October 14, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hien - Head of the Tourism Management Department - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh - said that recently, storm No. 10 caused severe damage to tourist areas in Ha Tinh, especially in coastal tourism areas.

"Currently, businesses, accommodation service businesses, and coastal restaurants are focusing on overcoming the problem. The storm caused great damage, causing difficulties for many units, but they are still very determined and make efforts to repair it to continue doing business and recovering," Ms. Hien shared.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh, storm No. 10 caused Thien Cam beach tourist area with many decorative signs to be damaged and broken. The coastal railing system collapsed, 3 rescue cages, an offshore warning system, 13 offshore lighting poles, 3 decorative LED lighthouses... collapsed and broke.

The office building of the Thien Cam Center and Tourism Area (Tien Cam commune) had its fence, billboard, parking lot, cemetery fence, etc. collapsed, with total damage to the works estimated at nearly 1.6 billion VND.

Most of the restaurants and hotels in Thien Cam Tourist Area had their roofs blown off, the roofs of the airproof corrugated iron roofs blown off, the glass doors and rolling doors rotated, and advertising signs... Some equipment and appliances of the establishment such as tables and chairs, seafood glass tanks, refrigerators, pots, bowls, heaters, air conditioners... were hit and broken... The total damage to businesses was about 5.5 billion VND.

Xuan Thanh beach tourism area (Tien Dien commune) has 16 restaurants with roofs blown off and severely damaged, with estimated damage of 200 million VND/house. Motels, hotels, and golf courses in the tourist area were severely damaged.

Hoa Tien Paradise Xuan Thanh resort has 15 villas that were severely damaged and collapsed; Muong Thanh Xuan Thanh golf course had its dome collapsed, the operating roof was blown off, the decorative tiles were broken, the lighting system on the course was broken; Muong Thanh hotel had its walls collapsed, glass broken; many other facilities had their roofs blown off, glass broken, and the landscape tree system was severely damaged...

Loc Ha coastal tourism area (Loc Ha commune) has a number of signs, steles, and corrugated iron roofs that were blown off, causing severe damage to 12 restaurants and accommodation facilities along the coast with a total estimated damage of more than 2 billion VND.

Thach Hai Sea Tourism Area (Thach Khe Commune) recorded restaurants and Quynh Vien Resorts having tiled roofs, roofs covered with corrugated iron, and curtains. The tree system and landscape were broken and severely damaged.

In Thanh Sen Ward and some neighboring communes, there are a number of hotels and restaurants such as Vinpeal, Egle, Ben Xua Restaurant... that were also damaged by storm No. 10.
