3 simple ways to treat acne at home from natural ingredients

With familiar ingredients such as honey, aloe vera and green tea, women can easily treat acne at home without the need for expensive medicine or cosmetics.

Acne is a common problem, not only causing loss of aesthetics but also affecting the psychology and confidence of many people. Instead of relying on expensive cosmetics, dermatologists from the Mayo Clinic have suggested some safe, simple treatments for acne with natural ingredients right in the kitchen so that mothers can take care of the appearance of family members.

1. Treat acne with honey and lemon

Honey contains natural antibacterial properties, which help kill acne-causing bacteria, soothe inflammation and reduce redness. Meanwhile, lemon contains citric acid that helps exfoliate and brighten the skin.

How to do:

Mix 1 teaspoon of pure honey with a few drops of lemon juice.

Apply the mixture to the acne area, leave for about 10-15 minutes.

Wash your face with warm water and apply moisturizer.

2. Aloe vera gel soothes acne, reduces dark spots

Aloe vera gel is famous for its skin soothing, anti-inflammatory and quick healing properties of skin damage caused by acne. A study in the Journal of Dermatological Treatment shows that aloe vera is effective in reducing inflammation and speeding up skin recovery.

How to do:

Take fresh aloe vera gel, wash, crush or puree.

Apply directly to the acne area for about 20 minutes.

Rinse with cool water.

3. Green tea - anti-inflammatory, prevent acne

Green tea contains powerful antioxidants, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which help fight inflammation, soothe the skin and prevent the formation of new acne.

How to do:

Sift the green tea in the boiling water for about 5 minutes, let cool.

Use cotton to absorb green tea juice and apply it evenly to the acne area.

Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse.
