On June 20, at the People's Procuracy of Dong Nai province, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint the Chief Prosecutor and Deputy Chief Prosecutors of the Provincial People's Procuracy.
At the ceremony, the representative of the Supreme People's Procuracy announced the decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han - Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Tra Vinh province - to take up the job and hold the position of Chief Prosecutor of the new Dong Nai Provincial People's Procuracy from July 1, 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han was appointed as Chief Prosecutor of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Procuracy in November 2024. Previously, Mr. Han was the Principal of the Training and Professional Development School for Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City.
Also at the ceremony, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Duy Giang presented the Decision to appoint the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Procuracy.
Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Duy Giang suggested that in the context of merging provinces and reorganizing the Procuracy system, the leaders of the new Dong Nai Provincial People's Procuracy must promptly grasp the situation and reorganize activities to meet the requirements of tasks in the new context.
On the same day, June 20, in Dong Thap, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce the transfer and appointment of leaders of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Procuracy after the merger (Tien Giang, Dong Thap and Soc Trang).
Accordingly, Mr. Kieu Hoai Phong - Intermediate Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of Soc Trang Provincial People's Procuracy - was appointed to the position of Chief Prosecutor of Dong Thap Provincial People's Procuracy (after the merger);
Appointing the Deputy Heads of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Procuracy (after the merger) include: Nguyen Thanh Phuc - Intermediate Prosecutor, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Tien Giang Provincial People's Procuracy; Pham Xuan Minh - Intermediate Prosecutor, Chief of Office of the High-level People's Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City; Huynh Hong Viet - Intermediate Prosecutor, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Procuracy (old); Tran Huynh Bich Phuong - Intermediate Prosecutor, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Procuracy (old).
The decisions for the Chief Prosecutor and Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Procuracy take effect from July 1, 2025.
Also in the week, on June 20, in Cao Bang, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.
At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel, the Supreme People's Procuracy announced the decision to retire early for Mr. Dam Nghia Quan - Provincial Party Committee member, Chief Prosecutor of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Procuracy, who will retire early and enjoy the regimes and policies according to regulations from July 1, 2025.
At the same time, the decision of the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Ngo Bao Ngoc - Senior Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Hoa Binh province to hold the position of Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Cao Bang province was announced; the appointment term is 5 years, starting from July 1, 2025.
Mr. Ngo Bao Ngoc - the new Chief Prosecutor of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Procuracy promised to continuously study, practice political courage, unite, promote democracy, and work with the collective leadership of the Provincial People's Procuracy to perform well the functions and tasks of the sector, meeting the requirements of judicial reform in the new situation.
