How to use turmeric to effectively treat acne

HOÀNG LỘC (THEO step to health) |

Turmeric has long been known as a valuable ingredient in skin care, especially in the treatment of acne.

With curcumin and many vitamins and minerals, turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, bringing many outstanding benefits to the skin.

Unlike conventional acne treatment methods, using turmeric not only helps improve acne but also helps brighten the skin, promote wound healing and prevent premature aging. Turmeric is a benign choice, suitable for many skin types.

An effective mask recipe for treating acne is a combination of turmeric, honey and coconut oil. Coconut oil contains lauric acid with strong antibacterial properties, which helps increase the effectiveness of treating acne. In addition, coconut oil is also moisturizing, helping to fade scars and protect the skin from free radicals.

How to do it:

Mix 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (15g), 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil (30g) and 1 tablespoon of honey (15g) in a clean bowl until smooth.

Cleanse your face to remove dirt, excess oil and makeup.

Apply the mixture to the acne area, making sure to fully cover the areas that need treatment.

Keep the mask for 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Apply this formula at least 3 times a week for clear results. Note that the results do not come immediately. Persistence and regularity are the keys to skin that is clear, acne-free and bright white.
