Gerard Williams and Bich Tuyen have a fairy-tale-like love story. The two had a romantic wedding on the beach in Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii in June 2014.
According to wedding style Magazine - quoted by Gerard at the wedding - he and singer Bich Tuyen first met through the Match.com dating app.
On their first date, they quickly realized that they had many things in common and had met many times before without knowing it.
Gerard was attracted by the smile of Bich Tuyen (English name Tiffany), while she felt he was more beautiful when meeting in person.
On Valentine's Day in 2014, Gerard took the initiative to propose to Bich Tuyen during a dinner at her favorite restaurant in Texas.
He planned a surprise proposal by pretending to be one of the waiters to propose to her.
2 months later, the couple decided to hold a wedding in Maui, Hawaii, choosing Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua as the main location.
The two planned everything together from wedding flowers to the color palette and atmosphere of the ceremony. They hope to have a solemn ceremony at noon to take advantage of the natural beauty of Hawaii.
The wedding took place with the participation of 85 guests from all over the world such as Vietnam, Laos, France, Australia, Canada and the US.
During the ceremony, singer Bich Tuyen appeared radiantly with her father, while Gerard could not contain his emotions when witnessing this moment.
" Her father cried when he gave me his daughter, it touched my heart. When the rings were worn on our fingers, we both knew that a new life was starting," Gerard shared.
After the wedding, the couple held a grand reception. Gerard and Bich Tuyen invited DJs and MCs from Australia and Beatles love band from Las Vegas to perform.
