On the evening of April 6, the program "Peaceful Singing Festival" took place at Thong Nhat Hall. This is the first large-scale political - artistic exchange program organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.


The program was implemented by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the City Party Committee, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province in collaboration with the television stations, with the close coordination of Military Region 5, Military Region 7 and agencies and units inside and outside the military.
The program was held at 3 historical locations: Hanoi (Army Radio and Television Center studio), Ho Chi Minh City (Doc Lap Palace - Thong Nhat Hall) and Dak Lak (Buon Ma Thuot Victory Monument). The three bridges symbolize strategic direction, historical turning point and symbol of peace and national unity.


"Peaceful Song Festival" recreates the emotional journey of the heroic years of the nation's resistance through the report, combined with special art performances such as chamber music, contemporary dance, live performances, 3D mapping lighting, laser, smoke, fireworks and graphics.

"I came here very early to watch the program, the atmosphere at Thong Nhat Hall was very bustling, my heart was also filled with joy," said Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, living in District 3.

The program has the participation of many famous artists such as People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Pham The Vi, Dang Duong, Y Joel Knul, Vu Thang Loi, Vo Ha Tram, Hoang Viet Danh and many other artists and actors.

The audience will listen to the stories and emotional memories of historical witnesses in the 1975 General Offensive and Rebellion, affirming the correct leadership line of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the development of Vietnamese military art and the strength of national unity.
