Dinh Doc Lap is brilliant with 3D mapping to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification

HCMC - The image of soldiers, the national flag flying in the middle of the Independence Palace... is vividly recreated using 3D mapping technology.

On the evening of April 6, the special TV bridge program "Peaceful Song Festival" commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) took place at the same time at 3 bridges in Hanoi, Buon Ma Thuot and Ho Chi Minh City.

The program was implemented by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the City Party Committee, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province in collaboration with the television stations, with the close coordination of Military Region 5, Military Region 7 and agencies and units inside and outside the military.

According to Lao Dong on the night of April 6, thousands of people looked forward to Thong Nhat Hall (ie the Historical Site of the Golden Temple) to watch special performances performing 3D mapping.

Major battles, battle letters, the image of the soldier returned and the moment the national flag fluttered between the Independence Palace ... was recreated vividly on the project that marked the end of the war.

"I was really touched when I watched the show. The historical images are recreated realistically and heroically, reminiscing me of the stories that our ancestors told about the wartime. I feel proud of my nation," said Mr. Nguyen Van Ban, 50 years old, District 3.

Ms. Trinh Thu Huong (student of Ton Duc Thang University) expressed: "The program is very meaningful, especially for the younger generation like us. It helps us better understand history, the great sacrifices of previous generations to have peace today. The art performances are also very special and impressive.
