Previously, at about 1:10 pm, people in the Go May overpass area suddenly discovered black smoke billowing from a house. Discovering the fire, people around quickly reported it to the homeowner, and at the same time called the fire prevention and fighting force.

Because inside there were many flammable objects, the fire spread very quickly. Notably, many loud explosions were heard from inside the scene, causing surrounding residents and on-site firefighters not to dare to approach too closely. To prevent the fire from spreading, households and neighboring companies had to urgently evacuate and move property to a safe area.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Team (PCCC & CNCH) Area 9 mobilized specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.

After about 30 minutes, the fire was basically under control. However, functional forces continued to spray water to cool deep inside to prevent the risk of the fire reigniting.
The fire occurred during rush hour at the gateway area, coupled with the large number of curious people gathering to watch, causing traffic through the Le Duc Anh - Pham Dang Giang intersection to be locally congested. Traffic police were present to regulate and divert traffic.
Currently, the cause of the fire as well as the extent of property damage are still being sealed off the scene by functional agencies and are being investigated and clarified.
