In the new episode of the program "Newlyweds", the story of the couple "Quang Nhut" (29 years old) and Mai Xuan (24 years old) attracts attention thanks to their emotional journey of many ups and downs. Mai Xuan is currently nearly 4 and a half months pregnant; while Quang Nhut is the founder and operator of a company providing automation solutions for packaging manufacturing businesses, working in Ho Chi Minh City. The couple currently live in Tay Ninh.
According to sharing on the program, they knew each other from high school when the school organized the "elegance" contest. Mai Xuan participated in the contest, Quang Nhut came to follow and ask for information to get acquainted. However, the first meeting at the coffee shop did not create much impression on Mai Xuan. She said she did not feel suitable, even assessed that the other person's appearance was not in her style. However, the detail that Quang Nhut appeared on a motorbike partly changed her initial feeling.
After about two months of getting to know each other, the relationship suddenly broke down. Mai Xuan recounted that after a movie viewing session, Quang Nhut no longer responded to messages for many days. When using another account to check, she discovered that she had been blocked from contact, while Quang Nhut appeared next to other girls. When asked directly, he admitted that he had developed feelings for a new person and decided to end the relationship because his emotions changed.
Mai Xuan said that at that time she was very disappointed and disappointed, but still chose to cut off contact. Regarding Quang Nhut, he explained that at that time he was young, immature and did not control his emotions well. He believes that ending it early is a way to avoid prolonging the injury for both of them.
About half a year later, Quang Nhut actively contacted back. He regularly interacted with Mai Xuan's posts and asked for an opportunity to be explained. Mai Xuan admitted that initially there was still a lot of frustration, even thinking about giving the other person a chance and then ending it to "retaliate".
However, after a long time of talking, Quang Nhut continuously apologized and admitted past mistakes. He said that the reason he chose someone else stemmed from the geographical distance: Mai Xuan lives in Tay Ninh, while he works in Ho Chi Minh City, so he chose a more convenient relationship.
After that, the two officially reconnected. When Mai Xuan was preparing to go to Ho Chi Minh City to study at university, Quang Nhut directly met his girlfriend's family to ask for permission to welcome her to live with them, provided that Mai Xuan's older brother also lived with them. The couple said they started living together in 2019, and the wedding ceremony was held afterwards.
Sharing about the proposal, Mai Xuan said that her husband is not someone who often shows romance. On a trip to Da Lat, Quang Nhut suddenly brought out the ring when the two were taking pictures. Her first reaction was both emotion and worry about the ring purchase cost, the detail made the studio atmosphere light and close.
