Nguyen Manh Hiep is currently an engineer in charge of manufacturing TV screens and iPads at a company in Hai Phong. He shared that he has been divorced for 6 years and is directly raising two children, a boy in 7th grade and a girl in 4th grade.
According to Mr. Hiep, the reason for the breakup stemmed from irreconcilable family conflicts. During the period of focusing on working and overtime to improve his economy, he lacked care for his wife, leading to an increasing gap.
After the divorce, Nguyen Manh Hiep adopted two children and did not ask his ex-wife for alimony. Mentioning the children, he was moved many times, saying that his biggest wish is that the children still receive full love. Currently, he receives support from his grandparents in taking care of the children.
On the other side, Tran Thi Ca is working as a human resources manager for a garment company in Hung Yen. She got married after more than a year of dating, but the marriage lasted nearly 10 years when her husband contracted cancer and passed away nearly 4 years ago. She currently raises three children alone, born in 2014, 2015 and 2018.
Sharing at the program, Tran Thi Ca said that she had experienced many conflicts in her married life, but always believed that happiness needs to be nurtured from both sides. After the upheaval, she both worked and took care of her children, and at the same time took responsibility for both families. Regarding her life views, she believes that living together or separately is not too important, what is needed is a peaceful family and full care for her children.
Listening to Nguyen Manh Hiep's story, Tran Thi Ca expressed sympathy for his situation. She hopes to find a gentle partner, with a stable job, who knows how to love her children and build a new home together.
For his part, Nguyen Manh Hiep said that he hopes to meet a woman who can understand his personal circumstances, love his own children and share simple things in life such as family meals or late-day conversations.
After getting to know each other, both decided to press the dating button. The handshake on stage closed the program with hope for a new journey built from empathy and sharing after each person's losses.
