According to reporters' records on the morning of June 28, at many shopping centers and amusement parks in Hanoi, many families took their children to visit, shop and experience entertainment activities.

Taking advantage of the weekend holiday, Mr. Trieu Quang Tuan, his wife and two children moved from Phu Tho to a shopping center in Hanoi to play, shop and let their children experience many entertainment activities.
My husband and I are both busy with work, so weekends or occasions like Vietnamese Family Day are opportunities for the whole family to spend all their time together. Just seeing the children happy and excited when they go out to play makes parents feel happy," Mr. Trieu Quang Tuan shared.
Also choosing to spend time with her children, Ms. Pham Mai Nga (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) takes her children to participate in indoor amusement parks. According to her, instead of just giving gifts, the family prioritizes creating more experiences so that members have the opportunity to connect.
The children really look forward to the weekend to be taken out by their parents. These occasions like today help the whole family temporarily put aside their phones and work to chat, have fun and save many beautiful memories," Ms. Huong said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Tran The Hung's family (Ha Dong ward, Hanoi) chose to combine shopping, eating and watching movies after many busy weeks.
My children are also grown up, so today my husband and I took our two friends shopping, eating and watching movies. Vietnamese Family Day is an opportunity for the whole family to have more time to chat and understand each other better," Mr. Hung said.
At the shopping center, Ms. Le Phuong Thao's family (Giang Vo ward, Hanoi) chose to participate in a workshop making handicrafts for parents and children. The two children were excited to personally paint statues and make small products to take home.
Activities like this help children both play and learn more skills. More importantly, the whole family has time to do one thing together, instead of each person doing their own thing," Ms. Thao shared.
Vietnamese Family Day June 28 is an opportunity for family members to gather, share and nurture feelings. For many families, short trips or time to play together become meaningful memories amidst busy life.
