In the new episode of the program "A Midday Date", Tuyet Hanh (43 years old, Dong Nai, director of a company) was matched up with Mr. Tran Huong (51 years old, from Da Nang), currently doing furniture and real estate business in Ho Chi Minh City.
Introducing herself, Ms. Hanh said that she came from a poor countryside, lost her father early, so she had to be independent from a young age. After getting married in 2007, the marriage only lasted about 4 years before breaking down. She decided to leave empty-handed, raising her twins alone, a boy and a girl. The two children are in 10th grade.
The female director said that she has experienced many different jobs, is currently the director of a vehicle care solution distribution company and works with many foreign partners. She can communicate in English and Chinese, and has also participated in a beauty contest for businesswomen to overcome self-doubt after a marital upheaval.
According to Ms. Hanh, the thing that makes her most proud is being able to bring her children a good life and learning environment. After many years of effort, she no longer considers past events as failures but considers them as an experience to grow up.
I am not afraid of hardship, not afraid of difficulty. No matter what the circumstances, I still want to live decently, sincerely and morally," she shared.
Regarding the son, Mr. Tran Huong said that he divorced in 2008 and has been raising his son alone for nearly 19 years. His son is currently a freshman at university. He considers himself a taciturn, gentle person, who likes to take care of ornamental plants, watch movies and eat on weekends.
In her private conversation, Ms. Hanh repeatedly actively suggested the story because she found the other person quite shy. The businesswoman said that she wanted to find a mature man with a stable economy and willing to share to accompany her for a long time.
If you don't share, you can't understand what the other person is thinking. To go together for a long time, you need to talk and understand," she said.
When asked about plans if the two go further, Ms. Hanh said that she still hopes for a wedding as a recognition of the new relationship. However, she also emphasized that the important thing is that the two people must have a balance in circumstances and can build a life together.
In the decision part, Mr. Tran Huong pressed the button wishing to continue investigating. Meanwhile, Ms. Hanh chose to refuse.
Explaining her decision, the businesswoman said that the other person was gentle, had a stable job and economy, but she felt that he still had many wounds in his heart.
He has a lot of pain in his heart and he does not share it. As for myself, I always live positively, no matter what the circumstances, I need to share it to make life better. Therefore, I apologize to him," she said.
Although not a couple, the two still thanked the program and expressed hope to keep in touch with each other as friends after the meeting.
