On June 11, at the second hearing of the lawsuit demanding compensation for damages filed by ADOR company against Danielle, a member of her family and former CEO Min Hee Jin, ADOR argued that Min Hee Jin violated her duty of trust as an internal director, including loyalty and prudent management obligations.
The company accused Min Hee Jin of directly encouraging the termination of exclusive contracts of NewJeans members.
ADOR has posted KakaoTalk messages believed to be from October 2024. According to ADOR, Min Hee Jin told the parents of NewJeans members that she would: "Directly design a plan so that the children do not suffer financial losses" and "Prepare compensation if they leave HYBE".
ADOR believes that these statements show that Min Hee Jin actively persuaded and built a roadmap to terminate the contract between members and the company, constituting a violation of trust obligations.
ADOR also mentioned the family of member Danielle, saying that they played a central role in this process.
According to ADOR, Danielle's family is: "The most active among parents who are said to have cooperated with Min Hee Jin's illegal acts".
The company also questioned whether the decisions made really reflect the will of the members themselves.
ADOR affirmed that Min Hee Jin actively supported the contract termination process, while Danielle's family played an important coordinating role between Min Hee Jin, parents and members.

Danielle's side accused ADOR of trying to prolong the lawsuit process, which could prevent Danielle from pursuing a full artistic career in the important stage of her life.
However, ADOR completely denied the accusation of deliberately delaying the lawsuit.
The company's legal team affirmed that they also want the case to be resolved soon, but their right to present evidence and full arguments should not be restricted just to speed up the trial process.
The court also mentioned the possibility of mediation between the parties.
ADOR said they did not completely rule out the possibility of reaching a settlement agreement. However, Danielle's side expressed skepticism, saying that ADOR had terminated her contract and then filed a lawsuit demanding compensation of up to tens of billions of won.
Currently, ADOR has adjusted the compensation claim for damages to Danielle, her family member and former CEO Min Hee Jin from 43.1 billion won (about 31.9 million USD) to 33.09 billion won (about 24.5 million USD).
