According to Korean media, Danielle (NewJeans) became the focus of discussion after appearing briefly in a video recently posted on the YouTube channel of actor Kim Dae Gon, attracting a series of emotional reactions from fans.
In the video, Danielle is seen running with a group of people; although she only appeared for a few seconds, fans quickly recognized the female singer based on her characteristic figure, healthy body and long-standing passion for running.
In the past few months, Danielle has also occasionally received attention when participating in physical training activities.
On online forums and social networks, many fans expressed relief and joy when seeing Danielle have a normal day, away from the limelight.
Many comments did not focus on her appearance but mainly talked about the emotions that the video brought. Fans said they were very touched to see Danielle out exercising and looking quite comfortable and relaxed.
A series of fans left comments under the video, sending words of encouragement and wishing her happiness.
Meanwhile, Danielle is involved in a lawsuit with ADOR company (manager of NewJeans group) after this company announced the termination of her contract with the female singer in December last year.
On May 14, the Seoul Central Court opened the first trial for the compensation lawsuit worth about 43.1 billion won filed by ADOR against Danielle, former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and a number of related individuals.
At the trial, Danielle's legal representative criticized ADOR's change of lawyers during the proceedings as a "intentional" action, causing the proceedings to drag on unnecessarily, seriously affecting her artistic activities in the important stage of her career.
Danielle's lawyer also argued that she was targeted from the beginning in a dispute related to exclusive contracts, fines and legal issues with ADOR.
Danielle's side requested the court to consider rejecting the lawsuit, arguing that ADOR had not fully submitted the evidence plan as requested, which means it has not proven the accusation that Danielle violated the exclusive contract.
At that time, the court requested the company to submit a list of evidence and witnesses before June 2.
However, instead of publicly disclosing specific evidence before this deadline, ADOR is said to have submitted additional legal documents, including additional lawyer appointment documents and a request to amend the grounds for the lawsuit in the case.
