On the evening of August 26, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the "Vietnam in Me" music festival took place. This is a key artistic event in the series of activities "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness".
After a long period of heavy rain, thousands of audiences came to immerse themselves in the music party.
From the opening melodies with the song "Noi tay lon" performed by Anh Tu and Duong Hoang Yen, the singing sound in harmony with the sound of rain creates an atmosphere filled with emotions and solidarity.
Duong Hoang Yen wore a turban ao dai while Anh Tu wore a white T-shirt with the words "I love the Fatherland".
The two young singers not only performed on stage but also got closer to the audience to join in the rhythm of the lyrics.
"Connecting a big bracelet" is a song composed by musician Trinh Cong Son in 1968 The song has become familiar to many Vietnamese people.
On stage, the artist "swallows in the rain" with the audience, while in the stands, the organizers distribute free raincoats.
The QR code to raise funds to support people in the Central region affected by storm No. 5 is also displayed on the big screen.
The music night will take place with more than 20 elaborately staged performances, leading the audience through three parts: Vietnam in me is the swirl of memories, Vietnam in me is trips, Vietnam in me is a wonderful land.
The show has the participation of stars such as Soobin Hoang Son, Hoa Minzy, Erik, Duc Phuc, Anh Tu, Quan AP, Duong Hoang Yen and the band Chillies.
The event was directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and organized by the Hanoi Opera House, with the coordination of relevant units. The program is an opportunity for the younger generation to look back on the 80 years of hard work but also very proud of the country.
According to the original plan, the concert "Vietnam in Me" will be livestreamed on digital platforms of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Electronic Information Portal. However, due to the impact of the circulation of storm No. 5, technical conditions did not allow it, the organizing committee had to cancel this plan. The show will be rebroadcast the next day.
