Temporarily suspending trains to the center of Hanoi

Hanoi - To serve the A80 parade and parade event, trains will temporarily stop running into the city center during certain time frames.

The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police and Vietnam Railway Corporation had a working session to agree on a number of coordination contents to ensure order and safety of railway traffic on the occasion of organizing activities to celebrate National Day 2.9.

Accordingly, Vietnam Railway Corporation will temporarily suspend the organization of train trips to the center of Hanoi (Hanoi - Giap Bat area, belonging to the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway line) during the following time frames:

From 20:10 to 23:00 on August 27, 2025; from 03:00 to 12:00 on August 30, 2025 and September 2, 2025.

At other times until 12:00 on September 2, 2025, trains passing through the section Km0+595 - Km1+800 will reduce speed to below 10km/h to ensure safety.

In addition, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the days of the Ceremony, Vietnam Railway Corporation arranged officers and employees to coordinate with the police force at the section from alley 222 Le Duan to Giai Phong - Dai Co Viet intersection, to propagate and guide people not to let people walk, stand or sit on the railway when the parade groups move to ensure absolute safety for the people.

The professional departments of the Traffic Police Department will regularly coordinate closely with the Hanoi Traffic Police Department and Vietnam Railway Corporation to deploy traffic flow, regulate, maintain order and safety of railway traffic.

On the afternoon of August 26, Hanoi City Police also issued a notice of traffic diversion to serve the Pre-approvarance of the 80th Anniversary of the Successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Accordingly, the above event will take place on August 27, 2025.
