On the evening of August 26, according to information from the People's Committee of Tong Son commune, Thanh Hoa province, in the T2 canal area (belonging to the flood drainage system, in Tong Son commune), a section of the dike broke.
The broken dike section is about 30 - 40m long, causing a large amount of floodwater to flood into the fields.
In the face of the above situation, the local government is mobilizing military forces, police, militia and people to urgently deploy rescue and incident handling work.
