Thousands of pages of HYBE Group's "Industry Trend Report" recently released by someone claiming to be a HYBE employee continue to become a hot topic.
Among them, SM Entertainment's boy band EXO is mentioned in many contents.
A document written on July 26, 2023 mentioned Baekhyun and compared his livestreaming style to BTS' Jungkook (under HYBE).
HYBE wrote: “It seems like he is feeling anxious because the group has not recovered as well as expected, and he must have realized that his position is shaky.
He even turned on a livestream at 7am to show fans stretching on a foam roller. He's always been known for being good at communicating with fans, but when he shows such a natural image of himself, it's hard to deny that he's not referencing Jungkook."
Another post written on June 21, 2023 said: “Raising the white flag of surrender. It’s strange if they think they can get away with betrayal without any preparation or planning (the case of 3 members Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin suing SM for harsh contracts).
Maybe they just hired a bad lawyer. It just ended up with Baekhyun's image being severely damaged. Hardly anyone cares about Chen or Xiumin.
In reality, the core fandom (of EXO) was most likely split into Baekhyun vs. D.O., and this incident probably dealt a heavy blow to Baekhyun's side.
Meanwhile, Baekhyun tried to flatter his fans on Bubble, writing: “Thank you for trusting me. I’m sorry for making you confused and worried. I’m still Baekhyun.”
He is smart, but this incident itself proves that people like him, who lack depth, can let things go this far.”
These contents in HYBE's report are making both EXO and BTE fans angry.
According to the media, new pages in HYBE's internal report continue to show that the corporation despises many Kpop companies, Kpop idols, fandoms, and even Kpop culture.
