On September 16, the organizing committee of the Coachella 2026 music and art festival announced the list of performing artists.
Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G will be the main artists at next year's festival, taking place from April 10-12 and from April 17-19 in Indio, California (USA).
According to Billboard, all three artists are at the peak of their careers and are active.
Justin Bieber has just made a surprise comeback with the album Swag, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart in July and bringing 16 songs to the Billboard Hot 100, bringing the total number of songs on the singles chart in his career to 121 - the 10th most of all time.
Sabrina Carpenter rose to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart earlier this month with her new album Man's Best Friend - her second album after Short n' Sweet in 2024.
Meanwhile, Karol G made history last year as the first Latino woman to be honored with the Women of the Year award at the annual Billboard Women In Music awards ceremony.

Besides the 3 main artists, Kpop fans are excited by the appearance of Big Bang at the show on April 12 and 19.
In 2020, Big Bang confirmed that they would be attending Coachella, but that year's festival was canceled due to COVID-19. After 6 years of missed appointments, Big Bang will meet the audience again on the Coachella 2026 stage.
However, what makes fans regret is that the Big Bang lineup this time will be without T.O.P - the rapper who announced his departure from the group since 2023. Big Bang is currently active with 3 members G-Dragon, Daesung and Taeyang.
Since the song "Still Life" released in April 2022, the group Big Bang has not officially returned. Last November, G-Dragon collaborated with Taeyang and Daesung to perform the song "Home Sweet Home", but as a song in G-Dragon's solo album "Übermensch".
Fans speculate that Big Bang's participation in Coachella is a sign that the group is likely to return in 2026.
Recently, Vietnamese fans also received good news when G-Dragon confirmed that he will hold a solo concert at 8WONDER Ocean City, Hanoi on November 8, part of the singer's ongoing global tour "Übermensch".
