YG Entertainment confirmed specific information related to Blackpink's work on a new MV.

On June 9, Xports News reported that Kpop girl group Blackpink (Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, Lisa) filmed the MV for the new song at a location in Seoul, South Korea last weekend.

After that, YG Entertainment officially confirmed that Blackpink had started filming a new MV on June 6.

As previously promised by executive producer Yang Hyun Suk, preparations for the group's comeback as a complete group are underway without any delays.

This comeback marks Blackpink's first new music release in about 2 years and 8 months, since the studio album "Born Pink" released in September 2022.

While details such as release date, title and title are still kept secret, YG's confirmation that Blackpink has started filming the MV is a rare move showing that the group is truly ready to return to the music scene.

YG stated, "MV is filming in Korea under the direction of a famous international director. This will continue to be an iconic project, expressing the identity and musical color of Blackpink.

You can look forward to this product, because this is a collaboration worthy of Blackpink's position as a global artist."

Famous for breaking records every time they release a new music product, Blackpink has had a significant impact on the Kpop industry.

Their influence continued to increase when the 4 members left to work solo since the end of 2023 and achieved impressive international achievements.

Meanwhile, Blackpink is also preparing to launch a grand world tour, starting this July at Goyang Stadium (Korea).

The "DEADLINE" tour will include 31 performances, passing through 16 cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York (USA), Toronto ( Canada), Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Barcelona (Spain), London (UK), Kaohsiung (Taiwan, China), Bangkok (Thailand), Jakarta (Indonesia), Bulacan (Philippines), Singapore, Tokyo (Japan) and Hong Kong (China).

Blackpink's tour schedule may continue to be supplemented.
