After many days of silence, YG Entertainment posted a teaser for Blackpink's "DEADLINE" tour. However, instead of being excited, fans expressed disappointment and anger due to the lack of information about the new album, so bo teaser and no difference from before.
Accordingly, the post shared a simple photo with the words "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR" along with the link and no further information. Not only that, the teaser is also considered soric and uncreative, with nothing but a black pink "DEADLINE", quite similar to the previous teaser "Pink Venom".
The post attracted thousands of comments but most expressed anger towards YG: "Let's give us something new", "We need a new creative director", "There will be about 40 days left until the first concert, but at present it is not known whether the group will return with an album or not, no new images, no new information. It was disappointing"...
In addition, the group has not released a new album since "BORN PINK" in 2022, making many people skeptical about the preparation for the tour. Some fans are worried and skeptical about the "DEADLINE" tour because the members are currently focusing on solo activities and a tight personal schedule. Being busy with their own projects can make the members not have time to prepare for their performances.
Previously, in an interview on the sidelines of Met Gala, Rose revealed that she had just been in the same studio with the members, making fans feel secure that the group Blackpink may return with new songs. Korean media also widely reported that Blackpink members will return in June.
In February, YG announced that the group would return with a world tour but did not provide much detailed information. The "DEADLINE" tour is expected to start in July in Goyang, South Korea.
