This is a noble title awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Physical Training and Sports, the Vietnam Olympic Committee and the Vietnam Paralympic Committee to athletes with excellent achievements and coaches with athletes with high achievements.
Notably, the list of nominees includes athlete Chau Tuyet Van (Taekwondo - boxing). In 2024, the female athlete born in 1990 won 2 gold medals at the World Boxing Championship and 1 bronze medal at the Asian Championship.

If 2 or more athletes have the same total points, the athlete with more votes will be selected to be ranked higher.
Accordingly, the organizers will choose the 10 most typical athletes voted in order from 1 to 10 in the rankings are the athletes who win the title of "typical athletes nationwide".
