In the film "Tunnel: Sun in the dark", the son of director Bui Thac Chuyen - Bui Thac Phong - has a small role.
He played the role of a soldier who transmitted information, was on duty to detect waves and transmit signals to the intelligence group at the Binh An Dong battlefield.
In a conversation with Lao Dong reporter, actor Bui Thac Phong shared about his first time working with his father: "My father is a very perfectionist, and I learned a lot from his perfectionism. In the movie The Geography: The Sun in the Dark, I played a small role so I was not too pressured when filming. However, I still find him strict and perfectionist in every segment."
Bui Thac Phong is currently studying acting at Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema. He has appeared in the films "Rain on the butterfly Wings", "No Time" and a number of short films.
However, few people know that Bui Thac Phong was a young football player before becoming an actor.
When he was still in school, Bui Thac Phong had a period of active participation in the youth team of Hanoi FC, having been trained and competed for 4 years. Due to a serious injury, he gave up his professional playing career.
"When I returned to normal life, I had a time of struggling and losing direction. Due to a serious injury, I stopped playing sports. I studied a filmmaking course and realized that my emotions for acting from a young age were still intact in me. When I confide in my parents, they all support me."

Bui Thac Phong was born in 2003, the second son of director Bui Thac Chuyen and actress Tu Oanh. He was supported by his parents to pursue his passion for art.
At the 81st Venice Film Festival, "Rain on the butterfly Wings" won 2 awards as Best Director and Best Film award at the International Film Critic Week.
This film also marks the first time Bui Thac Phong has co-starred in a film with his mother - actress Tu Oanh.
When he had the opportunity to work with both his father and mother, Bui Thac Phong had many special emotions. He confided: "I thought I understood my relatives, but when I worked together, I realized that I didn't understand them. Their parents are not as big as I thought, they also have their own emotions.
From a person who is afraid and avoids working with my parents, I understand the true value of being able to work with them on a project. I also thank my parents for giving me a sense of acting, dedication to work and respect for the profession".
The young actor said he was not afraid to be called the son of director Bui Thac Chuyen, actress Tu Oanh: "Because my parents are very good people, have contributed a lot over the years, and I am proud of them. The success of my parents is not my shadow, because they have their own path, I have my own direction. Pressure is a natural thing that anyone must overcome. I consider them challenges that I need to conquer."
