On the afternoon of December 31, the Press and Media Meeting program to summarize press and propaganda work in 2024 organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism took place in Hanoi.
Speaking at the meeting, People's Artist Xuan Bac - Director of the Department of Performing Arts - praised the effective models and achievements in the field of culture and arts over the past year.
People's Artist Xuan Bac shared: "Last year, besides the grand and large-scale programs, we cannot help but mention two programs that left a strong impression and were widely supported by the audience - "Anh trai say hi" and "Call Me by Fire". There were programs in the past that we could not sell out all the tickets, but now there are programs that have no tickets to sell. That is a good sign.
In the near future, we will discuss with the two organizations organizing these two programs to evaluate and advise on appropriate policy mechanisms for such programs to take place. If we evaluate by scale, economic efficiency, and social impact, we have the beginning of a cultural industry."
2024 is the 4th year of implementing the 5-year Plan 2021 - 2025, the year of accelerating and breaking through the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolutions of the National Assembly on the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021 - 2025.
In 2024, the fields of culture, sports and tourism continued to achieve positive results in many aspects.
Of which, the two programs "Call Me by Fire" and "Anh trai say hi" successfully organized 6 concerts, attracting tens of thousands of audiences each night.
During the time they were popular on television, many performances of the two shows entered the trending list, becoming hits that lasted for quite a while. But if we talk about the peak time, it must be when both shows ended and the concerts were organized by the two producers.
Currently, “Anh trai say hi” has performed 4 concerts in both the South and the North, with the number of audiences participating being more than 150,000 people (as announced by the program). Not stopping there, the 5th event is expected to take place soon and the movie about the concert “Anh trai say hi” will also be released in theaters, to enhance the experience for thousands of audiences who love the artists participating in the program.
With “Call Me by Fire”, the program has so far organized 2 concerts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hung Yen, attracting tens of thousands of audiences from all over the country. The third concert is scheduled to take place in March 2025.
