After the performance at the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, some costumes that BTS members used on the halftime show stage will be put up for auction within the framework of the global fundraising program. This is the first time the memorabilia associated with the first performance in the history of the World Cup final have been introduced to fans in the form of a public auction.
According to information from the auction organizers, 7 items associated with 7 BTS members will be auctioned online from July 24 to July 29. Each item has a starting price of 100 USD, creating conditions for fans around the world to participate. All proceeds will be transferred to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund to support children in disadvantaged areas to access education and sports activities.
The selected artifacts are all items that members used in the halftime show of the 2026 World Cup final held at MetLife Stadium (USA). Specifically, including Jung Kook's jacket, Jimin's shirt, V's scarf, Jin's belt, Suga's pants, RM's boots and J-hope's gloves.
BTS's performance in the final match between Spain and Argentina on July 19 is considered one of the memorable milestones of the 2026 World Cup. This is also the first time FIFA has organized a half-time performance program in the final match according to the familiar model of major sports events in the US.
Besides BTS, the stage also featured Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Burna Boy and the PS22 Chorus under the direction of conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
