On the evening of November 12, Vietnamese representative Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy excelled over 70 contestants from around the world to win the Miss International 2024 crown.
Thanh Thuy is also the first Miss Vietnam to participate in this beauty arena and is also the first person to bring the crown of the world's third largest contest to Vietnam. Throughout the Miss International 2024 contest, Thanh Thuy was always praised for her charisma and standard figure. "Before the surgery, I was a bit scared because I didn't know how people would receive it. However, I thought I had to take the risk to get the look I wanted.

In contrast to Thanh Thuy, Miss Grand International Thuy Tien wants to keep her face as natural as possible. In an interview right after being crowned Miss Grand International, Thuy Tien admitted that although President Nawat allowed her to undergo plastic surgery, she refused.
"This is the first time the Miss Grand International crown has been awarded to Vietnam, so I refused surgery because I want to preserve the natural beauty of Vietnamese people in the eyes of international friends," Thuy Tien said.
Previously, Miss Grand International President Nawat and Vice President of the contest, Ms. Teresa, were also very surprised to learn that Thuy Tien had not undergone any plastic surgery. This was also one of the reasons why they chose to give the prestigious crown to the Vietnamese representative.
