"The city is making efforts to research, develop and effectively apply policies and regulations on logistics service development; effectively implement administrative procedure control, review and eliminate unnecessary administrative procedures to create conditions for logistics service development" - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee said.
According to Dr. Tran Thi Hong Minh - Director of the Central Institute for Economic Management, located in the center of Central Vietnam, Da Nang possesses many advantages to develop into a pioneering free trade zone, creating a strong driving force for the logistics industry and regional economy.
In particular, Da Nang’s strategic location with a convenient seaport and transportation system makes it easy to connect with other key economic regions, not only domestically but also internationally. This is an important condition for Da Nang to attract investors, making the most of its trade and logistics potential.
Based on international experiences from Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore, China and the UAE, Da Nang can apply many innovative solutions to build an effective and sustainable free trade zone. Deploying advanced technology and optimizing logistics processes will contribute to making Da Nang a leading logistics center in the Central region, expanding connections with global markets, promoting import and export and international integration.
