The 3rd season of the hit Korean drama series "Taxi Driver" (Anonymous) has officially closed, with an average rating of 13.3% in the final episode, far exceeding movies in the same time frame and becoming the most watched miniseries of the week.
In addition, "Taxi Driver 3" is the highest-rated Korean TV series of 2026 to date, in the 20-49 age target audience group, with an average viewership rate of 4.6%.
Taxi Driver" is adapted from the famous webtoon of the same name, telling the story of a mysterious taxi service specializing in revenge for victims who cannot find justice through the law.
In all 3 seasons (2021-2026), the film maintained the entire main cast, taking on the roles of members of the "Rainbow Taxi" company including Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, Bae Yoo Ram.
In a recent interview, veteran actor Kim Eui Sung expressed his special feelings for the movie and the actors who have accompanied him for 5 years.

Kim Eui Sung shared: "5 years is not a short time. When we started this film, it was when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak. The story is very dark, although it may bring a feeling of relief, but I also wondered if the audience would accept such an expression.
I really never thought that this movie could last up to 5 years, receive support and love through 3 seasons like that.
The actor expressed pride in the "Rainbow Taxi" family: "It's not easy for Rainbow Taxi's 5 people to be attached continuously for so many years in our environment. I'm very proud that we did it together.
Kim Eui Sung also admitted that it seems that the actors are becoming more and more like the characters he plays. He gave an example of Pyo Ye Jin, joking that the actress "becomes fierce with managers like the character Go Eun, and managers seem to be becoming more and more stupid".
However, according to the actor, the person who "changed the least" is Lee Je Hoon: "He is still the same. He is someone who makes us absolutely not worried about this movie, a very standard person, who does not make mistakes and is very reliable. Lee Je Hoon is truly a pillar that brings us faith.

He also recounted a rare memory: "This is the first time I saw Lee Je Hoon get angry. Only once with the film crew. At that time, the number of scenes was very large, and those scenes each time they were prepared took time, there should have been a plan and many different options, but they couldn't do it.
He said seriously: "Let's work more responsibly". I stand next to him and feel hesitant. Although I am old and a senior, I clearly feel that his responsibility for his work is really at a different level.
Regarding the possibility of making "Taxi Driver" season 4, Kim Eui Sung appeared cautious: "Only relying on popularity makes it very difficult for movie seasons to continue forever. I'm not sure either. Making a TV series to both have revenue and be able to continue re-production is not easy, especially with movies broadcast on national television.
Perhaps the members all want to extend the seasons, but we have never spoken directly to each other. We only implicitly understand through our eyes that we will meet again, but have never spoken it out.
