Branch line worth more than 96 billion VND connecting Cam Khe industrial park
The inter-regional traffic road project connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C of Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province (now Lao Cai province) - with a total investment after adjustment of 2,120 billion VND, more than 53km of main route length has been handed over and put into use.
Belonging to the project, Package No. 32: Construction of the branch line was deployed from the end of October 2024 (winning bid price of more than 96 billion VND). This package builds a branch line connecting from Km23+920 of the main inter-regional road to Cam Khe industrial park (Cam Khe commune).

After more than a year of construction, the section with a total length of more than 3km has taken shape, passing through the fields of the old Phong Thinh commune; with the section bordering the Cam Khe industrial park, the road is constructed through hills, forming towering slopes, directly connecting to the main road of the industrial park.
This section is designed according to level III plain road standards, design speed of 80km/h. When put into use, it will meet travel and freight transport needs, helping to increase investment attraction efficiency for Cam Khe industrial park.

More than 97 billion VND to extend inter-regional roads to near Phong Chau bridge
Also belonging to the inter-regional road project, Package No. 60: Construction of the extended road - was implemented from May 2025 after completing contractor selection (winning bid price of more than 97 billion VND).
This package constructs a road more than 3.7km long, designed according to the scale of a level III plain road, design speed of 80 km/h. The starting point of the route is at Km0 of the inter-regional road intersecting with National Highway 32 (Km81+380), the ending point intersecting with National Highway 32 is at Km76+150 (about 400m from Phong Chau bridge).

According to records, on the construction site, the contractor mobilized many engineers, workers and many large machinery and vehicles to deploy the work of excavating and filling the roadbed, spreading crushed stone base, constructing drainage systems, and building the Ho Chi Minh road overpass...
Along with the inter-regional road branch connecting Cam Khe industrial park, the extended inter-regional road project is expected to be completed in 2026, helping to increase the operational efficiency of the main inter-regional road, helping to connect industrial zones/clusters, and develop socio-economics for localities.

Renovation of inter-regional road and National Highway 32C connecting route
Most recently, Van Xuan Commune People's Committee has implemented the project: Improving and upgrading provincial road 315 connecting National Highway 32C with the inter-regional road of Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province.
The above project has a total investment of 120 billion VND invested by Van Xuan Commune Public Service Center as the Investor. Package No. 07: Construction of the project is currently in the process of contractor selection.

Package No. 07 will construct a section with a total length of 4.63km, starting point at Km22+470 provincial road 315 location of My Van High School; ending point at Km27+100 intersection of provincial road 315 connecting to inter-regional road at Km2+460.
According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in the early days of 2026, the above-mentioned section passes through fields and densely populated residential areas of Lam Son commune, former Tam Nong district (now Van Xuan commune).

This road section has a fairly large traffic volume, many drivers moving from the main inter-regional road to National Highway 32C and vice versa have passed through this road section (to avoid the Km0 - Km2+460 section of the inter-regional road under construction).
It can be seen that the section has many seriously degraded locations: asphalt road surface peeling, many potholes, craters, deformed roadsides... Vehicles encounter many difficulties when passing through these locations.

After package No. 07 completes the contractor selection work, the construction unit will renovate and upgrade provincial road 315 with the scale: Roadbed width 15m, of which roadbed width is 11m, including 10.5m of runway surface (asphalt concrete), groove width of 0.25m on each side, sidewalk width of 2m on each side... The design speed of the route section is 40km/h.
