"The Wind Across the Blue Sky" was Vietnamized from the Chinese TV series "30 Not yet". After 48 episodes, the film ended with an open ending for the female lead role of My Anh (Phuong Oanh).
The main couple My Anh - Dang (Doan Quoc Dam) divorced after Dang's mistake for adultery. Although her ex-husband continuously made moves to fall in love again from the beginning through taking good care of her when she was sick, My Anh decided to let Dang go. Facing psychological conflicts because she felt she was never comfortable, My Anh finally decided to put an end to the past, drop the wedding ring, and focus on running a tea shop.
Although Dang bought a hill of tea, My Anh still maintained the view that she could not return. The two became friends, partners and took care of their son together. My Anh has been successful in her business path, becoming a famous businesswoman.

The image of the happy atmosphere of the 3 people when My Anh and Dang took their children out together was commented by the audience as an open ending. Instead of trying to hold on, both felt secure in their new decision. Many audiences felt regretful when My Anh did not accept healing. However, there are also opinions that it was the right choice because My Anh has suffered a lot of pain, she also feels that Dang cannot be himself when living with her.
Two opposing opinions about the ending of the couple My Anh - Dang show that one side still prefers a happy ending, familiar with the main couple returning to each other; while the other side wants a new direction, reflecting the spirit of change and diversity of modern life.
Meanwhile, the two couples Lam - Toan and Dung - Ngan both have beautiful endings. "The last minute of the " chu quay xe" of the couple Dung con ong Bo and Ngan made many audiences breathe a sigh of relief.

When Ngan (Viet Hoa) suddenly hugged Dung (Duc Hieu) because she wanted them to stop because for her the vibrations between the two were not love, Ngan decided to go to the South to pursue a culinary career. Dung also affirmed that he would not wait for her. This made the audience think that the couple would break up. However, after 1 year, on the day Ngan graduated, Dung suddenly appeared with an engagement ring.

Lam (Quynh Kool) and Toan (To Dung) have a happy ending when welcoming their first child a year later. Lam has matured and become more mature as a mother. Toan also feels secure and takes good care of his home.
Compared to the original Chinese version, The Wind Across the Blue Sky focuses on the maturity of the three female leads after falling, not going too deep into drama.
The cast simultaneously shared their feelings when the film ended, and at the same time sent their gratitude to the audience who have accompanied "The Wind Across the Blue Sky" over the past time.
On his personal page, Doan Quoc Dam emotionally wrote: "Closing a project, a memory, a life that has been lived."
Duc Hieu also gave his role the following words: "Goodbye Dung con un Bo! It will be beautiful memories. Thank you to the entire film crew for supporting the Blue Sky Wind and the crew.
