On the official fanpage, Phuong Oanh spoke up to warn the audience. The actress said that she was forged by a fake online account, illegally using her personal image to advertise and do business.
When receiving many messages asking if she was selling bloating pants as posted on that account, Phuong Oanh confirmed that she was not.
The actress emphasized: "Currently, some fanpages are fake, fraudulent, and illegally use Phuong Oanh's images for commercial purposes. This is a violation of the law and deceitful behavior towards customers".
Phuong Oanh added: Oanh and the team are coordinating to handle the case and have drawn up a record as legal evidence. Oanh wrote this notice to warn and protect everyone, avoid taking advantage of trust, buying counterfeit, poor quality goods".
This is not the first time the actress has had to speak out about fake news related to herself.
Before Phuong Oanh, some other Vietnamese stars also had to speak up to warn when their images were taken advantage of and fake pages were created to deceive consumers.
MC Thao Van, actors Bao Thanh, Lan Phuong, Ngo Thanh Van and her husband, Quoc Truong, Ly Hai... were all victims of these tricks, causing them to speak out because they were upset about the blatant use of personal images without permission.
Currently, Phuong Oanh plays the female lead in the TV series "The Wind Across the Blue Sky" remade from the famous Chinese film "30 Not yet".
The actress plays My Anh, a beautiful, talented woman. Having a husband as an event company director, My Anh retired to support her husband while focusing on taking care of her family. However, in life, the couple went through disagreements.
The film attracted audiences with the acting of Phuong Oanh and Doan Quoc Dam as a couple. In addition, the cast of Viet Hoa, Quynh Kool, To Dung... also received a lot of attention.
