On the afternoon of October 7, Sports Chosun published an article with the title: “Jennie, is it because of the dating rumors with G-Dragon? She disappeared from YG’s group photo.” The article quickly climbed to the top of Naver’s hottest entertainment news chart.
Legendary K-pop girl group 2NE1 has just completed their first three concerts in Seoul, South Korea, kicking off their “Welcome Back” world tour.
In particular, this concert attracted attention with the participation of many artists under YG Entertainment, even artists who had left the company came to support 2NE1.

Audiences saw former YG President Yang Hyun Suk sitting next to G-Dragon (Big Bang); Se7en sitting next to Gummy and Daesung; WINNER members Mino, Kim Jin Woo, Lee Seung Hoon; iKON's Donghyuk; Blackpink's Jennie and all 7 Baby Monster members present at 2NE1's 3rd night performance.
After the show, current and former YG artists gathered together to take a group photo.
A behind-the-scenes photo shows Jennie taking a photo with her seniors 2NE1 and some others, but she is completely absent in the photo of YG artists including G-Dragon.
Sports Chosun speculates, is Jennie avoiding G-Dragon because of their dating rumors 3 years ago?

In February 2021, Dispatch reported that G-Dragon and Jennie had been dating for a year. They mainly met at the luxurious penthouse in Hannam dong (Seoul, Korea) of the Big Bang leader.
But instead of admitting or denying this relationship, management company YG Entertainment responded: "It is difficult for us to confirm because this is the artist's private life."

Since then, they have continued to operate under the same company, but have never been spotted in the same space.
By May 2022, when rumors of Jennie dating V (BTS) broke out, fans thought Jennie and G-Dragon had broken up.
Currently, Jennie only has a group contract with YG, she started her solo activities with her own company ODD ATELIER. Meanwhile, G-Dragon left YG and signed a contract with Galaxy Corporation.
