According to Korean media, “Kpop icon” G-Dragon of Big Bang will collaborate with famous producer Kim Tae Ho for a new variety show on MBC. The show is tentatively titled “GD and Friends”.
This project marks the reunion between producer Kim Tae Ho and G-Dragon since the idol's memorable appearance on "Infinite Challenge" - MBC's iconic variety show previously directed by Kim Tae Ho, which aired from 2005 to 2018.
Fans still remember the chemistry between G-Dragon and the show's cast, especially during “Infinite Challenge Music Festival 2013,” when G-Dragon and Jung Hyung Don stole the spotlight.
“GD and Friends” is creating buzz even before its official debut. Although the specific format of the show has not been revealed, filming for the first episodes has been completed, and the show is scheduled to air next year.
Industry insiders call this collaboration a groundbreaking reunion between MBC, G-Dragon and Kim Tae Ho. In particular, the artists participating in “GD and Friends” revealed by Korean media are attracting great attention.
