The journey becomes even more complicated when she has to face Cha Se Gye (Heo Nam Jun) - a cold-blooded tycoon heir, likened to "products of capitalism".
The work is scheduled to air on the evening of May 8 - at the same time as "Perfect crown" - a hit movie by IU and Byeon Woo Seok, which is recording the highest viewership rating of 11.2%.
Speaking about the rating competition, Lim Ji Yeon said: "I have done everything I could for this movie. Sometimes I even thought if I needed to do it to that extent, but I have put all my ability into the role.
She added that she felt confident because she was free to express and create during the filming process, while director Han Tae Seop also expressed his belief in the female lead when affirming: "Lim Ji Yeon is our competitive advantage".
In her new project, Lim Ji Yeon continues to try her hand at the romantic comedy genre after a period of being associated with psychologically charged roles such as in "The Glory" or "Lies hidden in my garden".
The actress said that the humorous element is the biggest reason why she decided to accept the project. "That is a big challenge for me. Before, I often played dark characters, so this time I want to try a more vivid and cheerful image" - she shared.
Besides, Lim Ji Yeon also emphasized her harmony with co-star Heo Nam Jun. According to the actress, the two have made efforts to build a natural "enemy" relationship between the characters right from the film set.
