In the episode aired on May 17 of Omniscient Interfering View on MBC, members of Kpop girl group i-dle sat together to recall their days of rehearsal and their first years of debut.
Currently, i-dle has become a close and team-ward group. But Miyeon revealed that she was not welcomed when she first joined Cube Entertainment and met i-dle's trainees.
The leader of Soyeon recalled that Miyeon joined the company later than the others, so she was suspected. Miyeon also admitted that at that time, the members did not have much sympathy for her.
Soyeon shared, It felt like she was pushing a friend who was familiar to us out of the squad, so we had to be wary of being around her.
Especially Minnie, she was very cold when she learned that Miyeon had joined the group. Minnie explained that she felt threatened because she was previously the lead singer and the oldest member of the group. But when Miyeon joined, Minnie had to share her position with Miyeon.
However, there is something that Miyeon did not know, that is Lisa (Blackpink) texted her best friend Minnie, asking her to help Miyeon.
When Miyeon joined Cube, I received a message from Lisa. She said, Minnie, my friend is about to join your company, take good care of her, Minnie shared.

The story of Miyeon being a "missing member" of Blackpink has long been known to Kpop fans. Miyeon has been a trainee at YG Entertainment for more than 5 years. She became a strong candidate in Blackpink's official debut lineup.
But in February 2016, Miyeon suddenly left YG, just 6 months before Blackpink's official debut. After that, Miyeon signed a contract with Cube Entertainment, debuting in the group i-dle (first name is (G)I-DLE) in 2018.
Despite leaving YG, Miyeon still maintains her friendship with Blackpink. She shared on a radio show that she received congratulatory messages from Blackpink members when she debuted with i-dle.
Also on the Omniscient Interfering View program, Yuqi of i-dle added that she was very impressed with Miyeon's fashion style when she first joined.
As interns of Cube, we were only allowed to wear leggings, sneakers and T-shirts, we were not allowed to wear more. But then Miyeon appeared in Dr. Martens shoes and a leather jacket, she looked like a real celebrity from the first day, Yuqi recalled.
As for Miyeon, she was very surprised by the strict regulations when coming to Cube. Only members of the group are allowed to use electronic devices. Miyeon resisted the regulation and asked for permission to use a laptop. This made the other members angry.
