As Blackpink is preparing for a world tour in 2025, Lisa revealed the group's new music product in a recent interview with Variety.
The singer shared: "We were in the studio a few days ago. We were all so excited to see each other again and go on tour. We really miss Blinks (Blackpink fan community). We cant wait to see them.
Blackpink will start their tour on July 5 at Goyang Stadium in Korea. After that, the group will go through many cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York (USA), Toronto ( Canada), Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Barcelona (Italy), London (UK) and will end the tour on January 18, 2026 in Tokyo Dome, Japan.
Last month, Ten Asia reported that Blackpink's new album will be released no later than June, according to sources from some in the industry.
However, since YG Entertainment has almost no "tailor-made" move on Blackpink's album, there has been speculation that the album is likely to be released to coincide with the start of the tour (July).
In response to the suspicion, Lisa told Variety: "You have to be patient with that. It will be released soon, I promise. It's time."
This album marks Blackpink's first comeback in nearly 3 years, since the album "Born Pink" released in September 2022.
