In the final of Miss Grand Vietnam 2026, Ngo Bao Ngoc and Emoura Pham are the last two contestants competing for the crown. Bao Ngoc was awarded the title of 1st runner-up, while Emoura became the representative of Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2026.
Emoura wins in highly graded competition
Ngo Bao Ngoc has a fairly stable journey. The beauty is 1.75m tall, has a wealth of beauty pageant experience, possesses good catwalk skills and is in the Top 5 Best in Swimsuit. Before the final, she was considered one of the strongest candidates for the crown.
However, in the presentation round on the theme of peace for the Top 10, Emoura Pham was the winner and became the first contestant to enter the Top 5. This is an important challenge to assess the thinking, presentation ability and social messages of each candidate, not simply a sub-competition.
Emoura regained his form after the controversy in the swimsuit competition, won the peace presentation award and then successively entered the Top 5, Top 2 and was crowned.
Thus, in the final stage, Emoura had a clear professional victory, while Bao Ngoc did not possess a similar advantage.

Bao Ngoc's answer is safe but lacks highlights
In the Top 5 round, contestants received questions about how to introduce Ho Chi Minh City to international friends. Emoura opened with a familiar banh mi advertisement, then talked about the energy, pace of life and kindness of the city's people.
This deployment method is not completely smooth but has specific images, creating a personal impression. The Q&A part is one of the factors that helped the mixed-race beauty win.
In the deciding round, Emoura and Bao Ngoc both answered the question: Is Miss Vietnam's contribution to the community a mandatory obligation or a voluntary one?
Bao Ngoc believes that serving society does not depend on whether a person is a beauty queen or not, but needs to come from the heart. This is the right answer and shows sincerity, but relatively familiar.
Emoura chose a clearer point of view: dedication must originate from voluntariness; if passion is lacking, community responsibility can become a burden. She also directly links the answer to the mission of a beauty queen.
The difference is not in Bao Ngoc's wrong answer, but in Emoura's argument having a more complete structure: making choices, explaining the reasons and attaching the message to the disputed location. Her answer also received great encouragement from the audience.

Emoura shows "Grand quality" more clearly
Before the final, Emoura was assessed as the contestant who showed the "Great quality" most clearly in the season. The beauty has a sharp face, healthy physique, energetic performance style and good English skills.
Emoura also made her mark at the Grand Fashion Award, Grand Talent Award and English Grand Chat. The performance of both playing and singing "Heal the World" with a choir of 20 people helped her combine her performance ability with a message of peace - a factor close to Miss Grand International's orientation.
Meanwhile, Bao Ngoc stands out as a seasoned candidate with solid skills and few mistakes. This strength helps her move closer to the crown, but Emoura brings a new feeling, has stage personality and a clearer ability to create international effects.
Bao Ngoc did not completely fail
The title of 1st runner-up shows that Bao Ngoc is only behind Emoura according to the general assessment of the judges. She was also selected to represent Vietnam to participate in Miss Grand International All Stars season two at the end of 2026.
The allocation of two international competition slots shows that the organizers can see different strengths in the two beauties: Emoura is suitable for the main season thanks to her new image, foreign language and "Grand quality"; Bao Ngoc is suitable for the All Stars playground, where experience and competitive bravery are an advantage.
